Monard oil - General: The monard, or wild bergamot, is a plant genus in the subfamily Nepetoideae within the Lamiaceae family. It is native to North America. In 1569, the Spanish physician Nicolás Monardes (1493-1578) described the effects of some "New World plants", including this genus. Monardes oil - Physical effects: Monard essential oil has a wide range of applications. The various ingredients are also said to have strengthening properties for the digestive tract. Russian circles report that monard is said to protect against rays and, when regularly massaged in with a plant-based oil, it can slow down the ageing process of skin. Monard essential oil can also help with chronic fatigue by strengthening the nervous system. Monard essential oil neutralises negative thought patterns from all levels of being, clears illusions and allows us to find our true self more easily.
