Product information "Myrrh essential oil "
We have deliberately specialised in high-quality essential oils for use in aromatherapy. Our essential oils are particularly suitable for professional users such as aromatherapists, alternative practitioners and doctors as well as for people with high quality standards.
General: Myrrh (Semitic murr=bitter) is the resin of two or three species of the genus Commiphora, for example Commiphora myrrha from the balsam tree family. Myrrh is not only burnt as incense - similar to frankincense - but is also used as a tincture or essential oil.
Affirmation: I turn to my inner strength and concentrate on the essentials.
Physical effect: Myrrh has been used as an incense or for embalming the dead for thousands of years. Today, the resin distilled into essential oil is used as a popular base note in the perfume industry as well as in phyto-medicine. It has antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic and invigorating properties and is effective for coughs, bronchitis, digestive problems, inflammation of the mouth, throat or neck and haemmorhoids.
Spiritual effect: Myrrh oil nebulised in the aroma device facilitates meditation and supports the connection to the spiritual world. It has a cleansing effect and relaxes and calms the psyche and soul.
Application tip: After a stressful day, a blend of the essential oils of myrrh, ylang ylang, patchouli and orange in the aroma device can be wonderfully calming and grounding. Blends well with: all resins and woods; bergamot, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, mandarin, orange, rose, tonka bean, tolu balsam, lemon,
