The molecular structure of schungite contains hemispherical carbon compounds. When these come into contact with water molecules, they react and change their shape into a spherical form.The result is a natural fullerene. Without carbon, there would be no life. This previously unknown form of carbon has only been discovered in recent years - spherical hollow ions, so-called fullerenes, which to date have only been found in their natural form in shungite.
