Gold concentration: 10 ± 1 ppm Colloidal gold can appear completely clear, light pink - dark pink, light red, light violet - dark violet and even black. This depends on the saturation and the particle size. A colour only becomes visible when the gold particles reach a certain size so that the light is refracted. A colloid does not actually have a colour. They are simply small particles in clear water that reflect the light. Large gold particles refract the light more strongly than small ones - the larger the particles, the more "colour" becomes visible. This applies to all colloids. It is not sensitive to light and does not need to be stored in a cool place. It also has no expiry date Storage: Colloidal gold (like colloidal silver or silicon) should be kept away from harmful influences. Above all, it must be protected from strong magnetic fields. Do not put colloidal gold in the refrigerator (electromagnetic radiation!). Do not store it in the immediate vicinity of loudspeakers, computers, radios, televisions and microwaves. Do not bring colloidal gold into contact with other metals. Protect the colloidal liquids from major temperature fluctuations, direct sunlight or strong artificial light. Environmental factors such as cosmic rays and microwaves have a direct effect on the solution. The smaller the individual colloids are, the longer they will remain stable if stored correctly. Ideally, colloidal liquids should always be stored in a dark, cool place. Colloids must not freeze! Recommended storage temperature: 10 to max. 25°C. Always shake colloidal gold a little before use.
